Indoor Gardening Expo San Francisco Ca

Over the weekend Global Garden Friends ventured to San Francisco for the massive annual indoor garden expo hosted by Maximum Yield magazine. It's considered the biggest indoor gardening/hydroponics event in the world. GGF founder Mike Donaldson shares his experiences over the weekend for those who didn't get a chance to visit.

How was the show and how does it compare to years past?

The show was great. The new site for the show was a lot bigger and a lot more vendors than shows in the past. This is my 6^th time attending a Maximum Yield expo and every time I attend it gets bigger and better every time.

Did you see any cool new product(s)? If so, what?

Yes we had a booth rite next to a new company with a really new useful product. The companies name is BLACK HOLES HYDRO INC( http://www.blackholeshydro.com ). Very cool team. They have a useful system for automating the watering of your plants.

How many people were at the show?

There was about 1,000 vendors in over 400 booths. I'm not sure how many gardeners attended but safe to say there was 2000-3000 gardeners there checking out the latest and greatest products.

How was the reaction to your products by folks and how was the giveaway?

The response was great for all our products. Even some very happy people who are currently using the cage and clips came by to share how much time they save and how much more yield they are getting using the Ultimate Plant Cage. We gave away hundred of Ultimate Plant Clip samples. We did a big giveaway of 20 plant cages and 200 plants clips which is almost a $400 value to a lucky gardener. We still have to announce our winner which we will do later this week, but for those that couldn't make it to the show we are doing another huge giveaway on our facebook. Anything else you want to mention about the show?

The show was very well organized and the layout was nice. The facility was long and wide so it wasn't always crowded in the walkways even with all the extra vendors, like shows in the past. Can't wait for next year as the show went by so fast!
